August Outing for Albany Branch
20 August, 2016 @ 8:50 am - 5:00 pm
The Albany branch will again be collecting specimens for the Albany Regional Herbarium with Botanist Libby Sandiford. This is part of a two year project to collect specimens of all plants known to occur within the City of Albany boundaries, that have not been collected previously. This outing will be to the Mehniup reserve, near Kent River on Saturday August 20th. We will be looking for a Chamelaucium. We will meet at the Albany Regional Herbarium at 8.50am to car pool, or at 9.30am at the Youngs Siding Store. Anyone wishing to join us will need to bring their own food and drinks for the day, wet weather gear and a camping chair.
The Wildflower Society uses its independent technical knowledge of WA’s wildflowers to help you better know, grow, enjoy and conserve the wildflowers of Western Australia.
