Spring into Armadale : Walk through Bob Blackburn Reserve, Seville Grove
3 August, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeThe Armadale and Gosnells regions are blessed with numerous bush reserves, many of them cared for by local volunteers.
Bob Blackburn Flora Reserve (Bush Forever Site 062) is a relatively small reserve of approximately 4.2 hectares recognised as a ‘Forrestfield Complex Threatened Ecological Community’ – a community of vegetation species which was once common to the Swan Coastal Plain. However, now as little as nine per cent remains. Lookout for the special Lambertia multiflora var. darlingensis (pictured below).
Meet at the Aquatic Centre car park, Champion Drive, Seville Grove.
