$3On Tuesday 11 August the Perth Branch will be holding our General Meeting at the Subiaco Community Centre. Doors open at 7.45 pm and the meeting will begin at 8 pm.
This month we will be hosting a talk by Bronwyn Ayre. Bronwyn recently graduated with her PhD from the University of Western Australia, where she investigated the pollination of the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw. She is fascinated by the interactions between plants, animals and the environment, and how genetics can be used to help explore ecological and conservation questions. At our General Meeting Bronwyn will present a talk on the impact of introduced European Honeybees on the fruit and seed production of the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw.
The Wildflower Society uses its independent technical knowledge of WA’s wildflowers to help you better know, grow, enjoy and conserve the wildflowers of Western Australia.
