Would you like to learn how to build, install, monitor and maintain durable, pest-resistant nest boxes that cater for a suite of backyard wildlife? Join us at the July meeting of the Armadale Branch to find out how.
Simon Cherriman is an award-winning environmental scientist/ecologist, writer, educator and wildlife filmmaker and an enthusiastic advocate for the unique Australian bush and its creatures. He has been researching Wedge-tailed Eagle ecology in Western Australia for over 10 years.
Simon will talk about nesting-boxes and also his book ‘Hollowed Out?’ which is a culmination of more than two decades of study and photography of both natural and artificial tree-hollows. He will also have his book available for purchase at the end of the talk.
The Wildflower Society uses its independent technical knowledge of WA’s wildflowers to help you better know, grow, enjoy and conserve the wildflowers of Western Australia.
