‘Spring into Armadale’ ramble: Bob Blackburn Flora Reserve

11 August @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

Bob Blackburn Reserve is recognised as a ‘Forrestfield Complex Threatened Ecological Community’ – a community of species which was once common to the Swan Coastal Plain, now only about 9% remains. Preserved in the middle of suburbia, it contains an interesting mix of beautiful hills and plains flora.

Regarded as a “Jewel in the Crown” when it comes to the City of Armadale’s many reserves. An easy stroll through a 4.5-hectare piece of bush to see some of the earliest wildflowers of the Spring season.

Meet at the Armadale Fitness and Aquatic Centre car park off Champion Drive, Seville Grove.

Flat site, easy walking.

Bring water and snacks. Wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.
