Walk – Stinton Cascades

Introduction to Bush Walking in Stinton Cascades Nature Reserve, Sunday 3 October. Introduction to bushwalking in Jarrah/Marri woodlands with mixed understorey including Xanthorrhoea, Macrozamia and many other wildflowers including orchids. Terrain burnt two years prior with fantastic regeneration. Learn about local trees (Banksia, Snottygobble).
Hear stories of the timber industry in the area and local farming families.

Meet at the corner of Irymple Road and Civa Heights, Karragullen. Suitable for families with children 4-12 years. Approximately 3.5 km walk along fire break tracks with some gravel.
Bring water and snacks. Wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.
