Plant Survey 2024 Program

Our survey program this year will focus on three areas during the September and October spring season: the Julimar State Forest, Fynes Road Nature Reserve and a coastal property in the Shire of Nannup. We also participate in a basic plant ID workshop with the Murdoch Branch of the Wildflower Society.

Weekly Herbarium sessions

Volunteers meet at the Reference Herbarium (DBCAW, Kensington) on a regular basis from 10.00 pm – 4.00 pm on Wednesdays throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to come at any time to be involved in specimen sorting, identification and/or mounting.

We provide informal training in plant identification for volunteers as required.
