Resources for professionals
In addition to our bookshop and events, here are a few of our ‘go to’ resources for professionals regarding Western Australia’s wildflowers.
The Western Australian Herbarium provides a service to identify plants. Its collection includes over 700,000 specimens. The herbarium collection of all known plant species in the state is used widely by consultants, researchers and the public to help identify wildflowers and other plants.
Nature Map helps you to produce maps, lists and reports of WA’s flora and fauna diversity. You can search for species by name or by area.
Florabase provides authoritative scientific information on 12000 taxa in Western Australia, including maps, images, descriptions, specimen, and nomenclatural information.
The Atlas of Living Australia is a collaborative, national project that aggregates biodiversity data from multiple sources and makes it available and usable online.
