This is an easy walk in the Glen Forrest Superblock and around Nyaania Creek. It should be full of interest for bird and fungi people as well as plant lovers-along a creek, under Marri and Wandoo woodland and some revegetated areas.

Meet: 10am Corner of Sealey Rd and Tillbrook St, Glen Forrest. Verge parking.
Join us for the last ramble of the year in our local John Forrest National Park. This walk will be led by the very knowledgeable Penny Hussey. Usually takes about 2 hours, you may want to bring lunch to enjoy in the picnic area afterwards. Note there is an entry fee to the park.
This species rich reserve should offer some exciting finds. The walk will be in the morning, so we suggest you bring your lunch, then there could be a second walk in this very beautiful and diverse reserve. Wear walking boots and clothes suitable for the weather on the day.
To get there: Take the Toodyay Road. Go through Gidgegannup and past Noble Falls picnic area. Continue as the main road bends left, then right again. Go past Morangup Rd to the north – when you reach the next road, Black Swamp Rd, Morangup NR starts on your left. Go a little further, past the Marris to a gate leading to a track north. Signs will be there to guide you in. (If you are not sure, look it up on Google maps!!!)
This walk will be ably led by Penny Hussey and will explore the bushland of the Zig Zag. Meet at the car park at the top of the Zig Zag.
This ramble through Moola Road Reserve in Mahogany Creek, led by Mitzi Wehlack, should yield some excellent wildflowers.
This is an easy walk through the remnant bushland of the Glen Forrest Conservation area, led by Joy Collins.

This is an all day walk through Mokine Reserve, in the vicinity of Muresk. It will be led by Janet and Robert Atkins, and with our winter rains, promises to be a stunning day.

Meet at 10am at the entrance to Statham’s Quarry on Ridge Hill Rd. Park in the layby on the western side of the road, 50m south of the quarry gate. For more information ph Penny on 92997024.
This walk will be through the dampland area of the North Lake Reserve in and around the proposed clearing for the Roe 8 Highways. Please come to see the unique natural treasures that you can’t see when you drive up and down the Hope Road.
As it may be still slightly wet, bring along appropriate foot wear. Take you cameras too :)
