Wildflower Society Award

The Society has three categories of Award to recognise members service to the Society and to the promotion and protection of the States flora.

Wildflower Society Award

This is the Society’s premier award. It is awarded to a person or group judged to have most advanced the aims and objectives of the Society. The recipient does not necessarily have to be a member of the Society. One Wildflower Society Award is made annually. Please see the Honour Roll of Awardees below.

Meritorious Award

Nominations for this Meritorious Awards are made by Branches and are for services by WSWA members to the Society at a Branch level. There is no restriction on the number of Meritorious Awards given each year, and Branches may nominate more than one member.

Honorary Life Membership

Honorary Life Memberships may be presented to more than one member per year and is not necessarily made annually. A member nominated for this award will have rendered significant service to the Society and must be nominated by a member of the Society. Honorary Life Memberships are only made to members of the Wildflower Society.
