Albany Branch Meetings

Monthly open (to the public) branch meetings are held each month which include guest speakers. Meetings are followed by a Saturday Walk, usually reflecting the speaker’s topic.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday 21 April, 7.00 pm at the DBCA Conference Room, Albany Highway. Our guest speaker will be Heather Brown, who will be sharing some of the positive outcomes of growing a native garden, and sharing images and progress through her photos. Heather plans to bring a sample of each plant in her garden, together with an ID label, and spare seeds from some recently collected. She will share observations of which plants strike well and the types of fauna that visit her plants, including video footage of the activities of visitors like buff banded rails, and others.
