Open Garden Mundaring

Two of our members, Maxine and Bill Tyler, are opening their Mundaring garden on Sunday September 13^th, 10am-1pm.

They moved to the bush block 22 years ago and cordoned off sections to preserve the plants. Through mosaic burning, sourcing endemic species and sometimes hybrids, they established a garden that produces flowers at different times of the year. Five years ago, the garden survived a hot burn and they now enjoy finding self-seeded natives.

Wander through the paths and check out the plants, many of which had their origins in the Eastern Hills plant sale. If you wander further afield you can check out the vegetable garden and orchard.
